Ayresome Primary SchoolHillstreet were proud to host parents, teachers and pupils from Ayresome Primary School who entertained shoppers with a mix of song, dance and African drums!!!

75 pupils aged between 7 and 11 were involved in the event as Hillstreet stretched out it's arms to further embrace the community.

The event was organised by Emma Cooper, the school Creative Development Leader who said: "The pupils were really excited at the opportunity to perform in a public space. We believe that everybody has a creative side and events like today allow the children to not only entertain the shoppers, but more importantly, express their own creativity and talent"

Barry Parnell, Hillstreet's Operations Manager was delighted to welcome the youngsters. "The children were perfect ambassadors for their school and it was really nice to see local kids perform in a busy shopping centre.Hillstreet is a centre for the community and we hope that the children and our shoppers enjoyed the entertainment"

Teesside Golf Club

Teesside Golf Club buggy sponsored by HillstreetHillstreet continues its support of Teesside Golf Club by providing the first of two buggies for the club. These will enable the golf club to comply with The Disability Discrimination Act.

The buggy will receive Hillstreet and Teesside Golf Club branding in the very near future. Jon Walton, Head of Commercialisation at DTZ, Hillstreets' management company said 'This is an integral part of Hillstreet's community relations policy. The provision of the buggy will enable more people to take advantage of the fantastic facilities at Teesside Golf Club'.

The centre is proud to have strong links with the community. This Christmas the centre’s grotto will be donating all of its proceeds to Daisy Chain.

The centre has also enjoyed a strong relationship with Middlesbrough Football Club. Its legendary striker, Bernie Slaven, and Century FM commentator, Alastair Brownlie, have held several events in the centre.

Kader fc It recently sponsored the Teeside Golf Club Championship Competition and is continuing its sponsorship of Kader Football Club.

Kader Football Club, a Football Association Charter Standard Club, are celebrating after their sponsorship by Hillstreet Shopping Centre in the sum of £5,000 to kit out all the players in new football strips.

Chris Hudson, secretary of Kader said “We are delighted that Hillstreet has chosen to support us with this amount of money. The kits look fantastic.” Peter Drabble, Hillstreet centre manager, said “Hillstreet continues its commitment to the local community and is happy to offer sponsorship to Kader FC.

The excellent and dedicated work being carried out by Chris and his team is greatly benefiting youngsters in the local community. Hillstreet are proud to be associated with Kader”.
