Hillstreet Christmas Grotto 2009
Hillstreet once again teamed up with TFM Radio in order to raise much needed money for underprivileged children in our area. Thanks to the generosity of Hillstreet customers we helped raise £5,000 for TFM Radio's Cash for Kids. The money was donated by customers visiting Santa's Grotto located in the main square here at Hillstreet. In excess of 10,000 children visited the grotto and kept Santa busy until he had to leave on Christmas Eve.
Louise Lumley, Hillstreet Administrator said 'This is a fantastic amount of money raised by our customers, especially in times of economic uncertainty. I am once again amazed at the generosity of the community. On behalf of all the staff at Hillstreet I would like to say a big thankyou to all who donated and made a child's Christmas very special'.
