The first heat of Hillstreet Stars 2 got off to a great start with an array of young talent on display. Acts ranging from acro to stand up comedy graced the stage to the delight of the crowds who gathered to encourage the talented youngsters.
Graham Mack of TFM Radio, who hosted the show was impressed with the talent on display and predicted a hard time for the judges to choose 10 acts to go through to the Grand Final.
After long deliberations the following 10 acts were chosen:

The Final
The final of Hillstreet Stars 2 was held on Saturday 23rd August and all 20 finalists did themselves proud with some fantastic performances.
The judges were left with an almost impossible task of naming 2 runners up and an overall winner of the competition.
In the end, and after much deliberation, TFM Radio morning show host Graham Mack, who had hosted the competition throughout, announced Gerald Nortier-Robinson as a runner up and Emily & Beth Moorby as the other runners up.
Gerald had demonstarted excellent street dance that impressed both the large crowd and the judges. Emily and Beth demonstrated excellent acrobatic and modern dance routines that were again of an extremely high standard.
The overall winner of the competition was 14 year old Katie Coleman who sang beautifully and also played guitar. Katie won the major prize of a holiday to the value of £2000 and sang her own composition "Moving On" as an encore. A very talented young lady indeed!!! Our 2 runners up won £50 of M&S vouchers.
