Assistant Store Manager - Smiggle
You will be responsible for working alongside the Store Manager to maximise sales, uphold the image of the brand and lead and inspire the team. You will lead by example and will have a proven track record in customer connection and know how to translate this to your team. To be successful in these roles you will have:
- previous retail management or supervisory experience in a fast paced environment
- strong sales focus and proven results in achieving KPIs
- extensive knowledge in loss prevention, Shrink and health & safety
- strong leadership skills to coach and develop yourself and team
- a high level of visual merchandising standards using planograms and VM guidelines

To work 12 hours over 4 days a week
Must be flexible with regard to shifts and have a keen interest in fashion. You need to have a positive and outgoing personality and be enthusiastic to learn new skills. Previous experience in retail is preferred.

Your overall responsibility is to ensure the continuous success and development of our Jack & Jones Retail Store in Middlesbrough through developing and executing sales strategies, managing your team and ensuring best practice.
You will inspire, coach and motivate your team to strengthen and develop Jack & Jones' position in the market. You will ensure that our products and service concept are delivered in our store in order to make sure our customers feel Proud, Secure and Satisfied.
Responsibilities: - Planning workloads and rotas
- Allocating tasks to team members
- Ensuring optimal Store Performance by briefing teams on targets to maximise sales and increase profitability
- Planning and carrying out sales promotional initiatives
- Ensuring that different sales' KPIs are reached
- Keeping up to date with regulations
You will hold previous retail experience, leadership skills and written and verbal skills. You will have the ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels as well as the ability to plan and prioritise your own and other people's work.
Since you will play an important role in Jack & Jones development, it is important that you are a natural leader that has potential for growth. You must have a commercial mindset and the skills to transform strategic plans into actual sales initiatives. You must possess excellent communication skills along with a high personal drive and a winning mentality. Furthermore, you must have the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues to achieve strategies and increase sales.
Required experience: 1 year's management experience

Duties to include engaging with customers, using the till, cashing up, replenishing stock, opening up and closing down the kiosk securely. Keeping work area clean and tidy and properly merchandised.
